We began our work with Vertbaudet in 2022, our main goal was to optimise the website for SEO in Portugal. As we quickly got good results, we started working on the Spanish market too. The customer

Founded in 1963 in the North of France, Vertbaudet is a renowned company that sell kids products through retail and eCommerce. They sell more than twenty million products every year and they have more than three million clients all over Europe. They offer a large range of products to their customers that include kids wear, toys, home decoration items and maternity wear.

Challenges

Vertbaudet has a wide range of products which also represents a challenge for SEO. The website had to be optimised at a large scale and we had to prioritise pages based on number of visits and company strategy. We had to be careful to select keywords based on their local competitors and we had to make sure these optimisations would give quick results. On top of this, we had to respect specific branding guidelines for copywriting.

Solution

We put together a content strategy based on Verbaudet’s niche and we started implementing content optimisations on every page of the website. The website’s rankings immediately started going up on Google. Along with this methodological work on the content, we also focused on creating guest posts on niche websites related to kids’ growth, motherhood and parenting in general. Overall, the strong on-page and off-page strategy we put in place for this customer enabled us to get results almost instantaneously.
